CISA Debuts New Cybersecurity Training Platform

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) has recently launched a new learning management system, CISA Learning, replacing the Federal Virtual Training Environment (FedVTE). This platform is designed to modernize the training and education available to its employees and key stakeholders, including federal, state, local, tribal, and territorial levels of government. The transition to CISA Learning ensures that the training resources are more accessible and user-friendly, supporting the nation’s cybersecurity workforce by offering no-cost training.

Key Features of CISA Learning:

• Comprehensive Training Options: The platform offers classroom-based courses, virtual instructor-led training, and self-paced online modules, allowing users to learn in the setting that best suits their needs.

• Centralized Learning Hub: All training programs are now centralized under one unified system, streamlining the user experience by eliminating the need to navigate multiple platforms.

• Enhanced Capabilities: CISA Learning provides improved administration features for course enrollment and tracking, as well as enhanced reporting capabilities that offer detailed insights into course completion and student progress.

This initiative is part of CISA's broader commitment to strengthening the nation’s cybersecurity workforce and ensuring critical infrastructure protection. It reflects an important step in adapting to the evolving needs of cybersecurity education and training, making it a cornerstone of CISA’s strategy to maintain leadership in this field.
